Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Deli Manager to oversee all deli department operations, safeguarding food safety, inventory control, merchandising, and staff performance. The role ensures adherence to company standards while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.

You will lead daily deli activities, manage inventory and displays, and partner with store leadership to drive sales and a high-standard customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli, food service, retail, or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and product handling.
• Experience leading or managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily deli operations to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper stock rotation, replenishment, and monitoring of product levels.
• Ensure all deli products are handled, prepared, and stored in accordance with company and food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring timely removal or disposition of unsellable items.
• Supervise and manage department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures and performance expectations.
• Coordinate merchandising, signage, and product displays to support sales and customer engagement.
• Review inventory trends, shrink, and discrepancies to identify and address concerns.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal audit standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the deli department.
