Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Co. is seeking a Deli Lead to ensure hot and cold foods are prepared and displayed per company standards. You will work with deli personnel to promote department sales, supervise partners, and monitor inventory, pricing, and quality.

A strong focus on customer service and safety will drive daily success. Responsibilities include training staff, reviewing promotions data, and ensuring accurate labeling, slicing, and catering support while maintaining a clean, safe work

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of related experience.
• Food Handler certification required; Manager Food Safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop partners; schedule, plan, and direct work.
• Review sales, ads, and promotions data; support inventory management.
• Maintain quality control and food safety standards; rotate dated products.
• Assist with slicing, weighing, packaging, and labeling deli items; support catering orders.
• Ensure friendly customer service and answer questions by phone and in person.
