Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Deli Manager to lead one of our busiest departments. You will coach a team, ensure product quality, manage inventory, and deliver exceptional customer service through fresh, healthy options.

This role requires 2+ years of deli or retail supervisory experience, strong communication, meticulous scheduling, and a Food Safety certification. You’ll work with store leadership to meet gross profit goals and create a welcoming in-store experience.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of deli department supervisory experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with personnel, margin, and weekly sales reports and financial goals.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team members.
• Detail-oriented with planning and organizational abilities.
• Food Safety certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a deli team to deliver high-quality products and service.
• Manage department inventory, orders, and storage.
• Coordinate production, merchandising and sales planning.
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Schedule staffing to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and other leaders to meet goals.
