Job summary

BFS Foods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Deli Manager in Morgantown, WV to lead our fast-paced deli unit with a focus on exceptional customer service, team leadership, and efficient operations.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, and prior supervisory experience to manage daily paperwork, staffing, and adherence to brand standards while delivering top-quality food and service to our community.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a fast-paced deli environment.
• Strong customer service, communication and organizational skills.
• Proven experience supervising others.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction is the top priority at all times.
• Create a succession plan and develop staff to cover duties when away.
• Complete daily paperwork including sales reports and inventory to ensure unit profitability.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the unit.
• Order food and supplies daily for operation.
• Monitor proper temperatures during deli production.
• Hire, discipline and schedule staff based on sales data.
• Hold monthly meetings with employees to discuss operations.
• Establish community presence to drive business and sales.
• Enforce brand standards and company policies.
• Represent the company professionally and treat employees with respect.
• Manage HR at the unit level including payroll and time sheets.
• Train staff on POS systems, back-of-house and front-of-house duties.
