Job summary

Mountaineer Park Inc. in New Cumberland, WV is seeking a Regular Full-Time Deli Associate to prepare and serve deli products and support the Deli Manager in daily operations. You will handle customer orders, manage prep work, and help maintain outlet cleanliness and product rotation.

The role requires reliable cash handling, strong communication, and teamwork. Candidates must be 21+, able to work all shifts, and pass a background check to obtain a WV Racing License.

Qualifications

• Prior management, micros, and money handling experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance.
• Ability to work with others as a team.
• Ability to work well with the public.
• Operate a cash register.
• Ability to work in a fast–paced environment.
• Available to work all shifts.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pass background investigation and obtain WV Racing License.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing and serving deli products to patrons, and assist Deli Manager in daily operations.
• Assure proper rotation of product, freshness of product and outlet cleanliness.
• Ensure uniform compliance and spot-check food items for consistency.
• Assist cashier in opening and closing of register.
• Perform opening and closing checklist with all employees.
• Take patron orders, make sandwiches, side orders and serve beverages in a timely manner.
• Keep the deli clean and organized according to set standards.
• Assorted prep work as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
