Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/Deli Lead to direct all activities in the deli and food service department, ensuring merchandising, sales and guest service goals are met. You will coach staff, manage schedules, and uphold high food safety standards while working in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role includes overseeing preparation, display, inventory and cash handling, with opportunities for professional development and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role
• Serv-Safe certification preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Work in walk-in coolers and freezers
• Stand for long periods and handle knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers and rotisseries

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel, meeting department goals and communicating with store management and department supervisors
• Schedule all team members and on-board/coaching of new hires
• Take guest orders and ensure orders are completed on time and to guest satisfaction
• Oversee deli/food service preparation, merchandising, and pricing accuracy
• Receive merchandise, audit invoices, and manage inventory and paperwork

Education
