Zusammenfassung

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/Deli Lead to direct all activities in the deli and food service department, ensuring merchandising, sales and guest service goals are met.

The role involves supervising staff, onboarding new members, scheduling, and maintaining food safety standards while coordinating with store management. Strong leadership and fresh foods experience are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.

Aufgaben

• Direct department personnel, meeting department’s goals and objectives, communicating with store management and department supervisors.
• On-board and coach all new team members.
• Schedule all team members.
• Offer product information, provide selling suggestions and active sampling; always give a genuine thank you.
• Take guest orders and ensure completion on time and to the guest’s satisfaction.
• Ensure department personnel follow all county, city and company food safety and sanitation guidelines and policies.
• Order products and supplies to maintain stock levels and merchandising standards.
• Oversee preparation and serving/merchandising of deli/food service items (breakfast, lunch, dinner, beverages, etc.).
• Display deli and food service items following guidelines; rotate items for quality and safety.
• Process cash transactions, give change and refunds; use scale printer for pricing accuracy.
• Monitor product pricing, signage and shelf tags; maintain clean counters and storage areas.
• Ensure safety equipment usage by staff.
