Job summary

Global Partners LP in Orono, ME seeks a Food Service Supervisor/Deli Lead to direct the deli and food service team, achieve merchandising and guest service goals, and model our Fresh Food standards.

You will hire, onboard, and coach staff, schedule shifts, train on food safety, and oversee ordering, preparation, and presentation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items while maintaining pricing and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 2 years' experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Must have reliable transportation and an active driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel to meet goals and communicate with store management.
• Schedule all team members.
• Oversee the deli/food service preparation and merchandising.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Process cash register transactions and manage pricing and signage.
• Maintain clean, organized counters and storage areas.
• Rotate products and manage inventory records.
