Job summary

Global Partners LP in Newfields, NH is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead to direct the deli and food service department and its people, ensuring merchandising, guest service, and sales goals are met.

You will hire, train, schedule, and coach team members, manage orders, maintain safety standards, rotate and stock products, handle cash transactions, and keep counters clean while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment preferably in managerial role.
• Serv-safe certification preferred.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Work in walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Stand for long periods of time, bend and twist below waist, and frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies, as well as reaching above shoulder height.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel, meeting department's goals and objectives; communicate with store management and department supervisors.
• On-board and coach all new team members; schedule all team members.
• Take guest orders and ensure orders are completed on time and to the guest's satisfaction.
• Ensure department personnel follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines and policies.
• Oversee preparation and serving/merchandising of deli/food service items; maintain stock and display standards.
• Rotate deli/food service items for sale; monitor quality and safety; manage product shrink.
• Handle cash register transactions and maintain pricing accuracy.
