Job summary

PCC Community Markets in Ballard, Seattle seeks a Deli Helper Clerk to provide friendly, professional service at the deli counter and related stations. You will perform basic food prep, package deli items and keep the area clean while following PCC recipes and quality standards.

The role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends, ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen, and a commitment to food safety.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Previous food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of specialty and prepared foods preferred.
• Basic math skills for measurement and scale functions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements for standing, twisting, bending, lifting 10–40lbs regularly.
• A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required.
