Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead to direct a deli and food service team, achieving merchandising, sales and guest service goals. The role involves coaching new hires, scheduling staff, managing inventory and ensuring food safety and quality across breakfast, lunch, dinner and beverage items.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, and 2 years in a fresh foods environment; Serv-Safe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel, meeting department goals and communicating with store management.
• Coach and on-board new team members; schedule all team members.
• Oversee deli/food service operations, ensure product quality, safety and pricing accuracy.
• Process cash register transactions and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Maintain clean, organized counters, prep areas, storage and display areas.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and merchandising per company guidelines.
