99 Ranch Market in Daly City is seeking a part-time Food Prep Associate to support our busy kitchen and deli areas. You will assist in preparation, stocking, cleanliness, and safety procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.

Formación

• Customer service orientation required or preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to assess product quality and freshness at a glance.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation of all food items, including washing, cutting, weighing and other required procedures as needed.
• Assist in the transfer or withdrawal of stocks, supplies, packaging materials, and food ingredients to and from cold or dry storage.
• Be aware of expiration dates to remove older products and stock newer items.
• Maintain cleanliness of the food production area and equipment.
• Follow food safety practices and OSHA safety rules in handling chemicals.
• Handle expired and recalled products properly and keep logs as required.
• Set up and take down promotional displays and ensure shelf tags are accurate.
• Keep aisles clean and free of debris.
• Assist customers with orders and answer questions.
• Follow cash handling procedures and complete checkout accurately.
• Perform other duties as needed.
