Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to handle deli and food service operations with a focus on sanitation, cost controls, and guest service. You will process transactions, assist with prep, packaging, and displays, ensuring accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Weekend/holiday/evening shifts required or available.
• 2 years foodservice or retail management experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Learn to use UPC codes, store signage, and memorize register keys/codes.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, and posted policies.
• Handle deli ingredients, meats, vegetables, fruits, spices and oils.
• Weigh and price using scales, ensure correct labeling.
• Monitor pricing, signage, and shelf placement.
• Keep check stand and work areas clean and organized.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• Cook and prepare deli items, salads, sandwiches, beverages, and prepared meals.
• Work safely around slicers, ovens, burners and fryers.
• Display products per department guidelines.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely, satisfactory completion.
• Other duties as assigned by Store Manager.
