Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead to direct the deli and food service department, guiding staff to meet merchandising, sales, and guest service goals. The role emphasizes leadership, training, scheduling, and maintaining high food safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position requires prior fresh foods experience, strong customer service, and the ability to manage inventory and daily operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Walk-in coolers and freezers work environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel, meeting department goals and objectives.
• Schedule all team members and onboard new staff.
• Take guest orders, ensure timely completion and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee deli/food service item preparation and merchandising according to guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across counters, prep areas, and storage areas.
