Job summary

Global Partners LP in New York is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead to direct the deli and food service department, supervise staff, schedule shifts, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will uphold safety standards and maintain merchandising and product quality.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma, at least 2 years in fresh foods, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds; ServSafe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel, meeting department's goals and objectives, communicating with store management and supervisors.
• Schedule all team members; on-board and coach new staff; provide selling suggestions and handling guest orders.
• Oversee deli/food service preparation, merchandising, and quality control; ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Manage cash register transactions, pricing accuracy, and inventory counts; maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Rotate inventory, receive merchandise, and audit invoices; assist with ordering supplies as needed.
