Mitchell Area Development Corporation is hiring a Department Manager to lead the Deli Department at our Mitchell location. You will be the key leader responsible for department performance, driving maximum sales and gross profits through efficient use of personnel and resources.

You will guide the team with ongoing training, coaching, and a focus on remarkable guest service, while directing ordering, receiving, merchandising, pricing, and ensuring freshness of department products.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in managing a department or team.
• Experience in training, influencing, and coaching staff.
• Strong recordkeeping and guest service emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate ordering, receiving, merchandising, pricing, and freshness of deli department products.
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and excellent guest service.
• Manage employee relations, labor, gross profit, and expense control.
• Oversee inventory, shrink, stocking, and rotate out-of-stock items.
• Direct workload, conduct performance evaluations, and pursue safety compliance.
