Job summary

Coborn's, Inc. is seeking a Deli Department Assistant Manager to support the Deli Department Manager in operating a successful deli.

You will ensure guests receive outstanding service at the counter, assist with slicing, weighing, packaging, and labeling, and take charge of records, inventory, and staff supervision. You will lead by example, direct workload, train associates, and help manage expenses while maintaining department freshness through proper rotation and shrink control.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist Deli Department Manager with all department functions.
• Supervise staff, direct workload, and conduct training and evaluations.
• Slice, weigh, package, label deli items; ensure freshness and rotate stock.
• Maintain accurate records, manage expense control, inventory and shrink.
• Deliver remarkable guest service at the deli counter.
