Job summary

Coborn’s is seeking a Deli Department Lead to oversee operations in the absence of the Department Manager. You will drive exceptional guest service, lead the deli team, maintain high standards of freshness for salads and sliced meats, and educate guests at the counter.

You will promote a friendly atmosphere, engage guests with samples and selling, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while supporting merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Deli Department in the absence of the Department Manager.
• Ensure merchandising standards are met, fully stocked and appealing to guests.
• Provide outstanding guest service and leadership to the Deli staff.
• Ensure quality and freshness of salads and sliced meats.
• Educate and assist guests at the kitchen and deli counter.
• Create a fun, friendly atmosphere to attract guests and drive sales.
• Engage guests with product samples and suggestive selling.
• Understand and apply health, safety and sanitation regulations.
