Job summary

Super 1 Foods in Montana is seeking a diligent Deli Cook to prepare recipes to specification and ensure top quality and taste. You will follow all department guidelines and maintain a safe, clean prep area in a fast-paced environment.

Primary duties include ingredient prep, proper stocking and labeling, equipment care, and accurate receiving/logging of products by temperature and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Preps all ingredients and recipes to spec to ensure highest quality and taste.
• Properly stocks, rotates labels and stores product.
• Maintains proper care and maintenance of all equipment.
• Ensures cleanliness of prep, storage and work areas for safety; cleans shelves and floors.
• Receives, inspects, and logs products for accuracy of production, temperature, and quality.
• Operates equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Uses scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products.

A deli cook is responsible for making all Super 1 Foods recipes to spec and ensuring the highest food quality and taste. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines set by the department manager.

• Preps all ingredients and recipes to spec to ensure highest quality and taste.
• Properly stocks, rotates labels and stores product.
• Practices proper care and maintenance of all equipment.
• Ensures cleanliness of food preparation areas, storage area, and work area for safety; includes cleaning of shelves and products, keeping floors free of liquid spills or water, removing hazardous debris from floor and sweeping.
• Receives, inspects, and logs products for accuracy of production, temperature, and quality.
• Requires operating and using equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Uses knowledge of scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products.
