Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a deli team member to support preparation and service in a fast-paced store environment. You will weigh, slice and prepare deli items, assist customers, and ensure proper labeling and display per plan‑o‑gram.

You will maintain clean work areas, follow safety guidelines, and participate in loss prevention measures. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. A reliable schedule and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to communicate and follow company policies and safety regulations
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements with or without accommodation
• Ability to maintain regular attendance and operate or learn to use equipment

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli items using carts, containers, utensils, ovens, fryers, roasters, slicers, scales and cash registers.
• Make sandwiches, pizzas, and wraps; label and merchandise per plan‑o‑gram (POG).
• Serve customers, weigh and wrap deli items, and place in containers.
• Maintain clean and sanitized work surfaces, tools, equipment, cases, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss as part of standard procedures.
