Job summary

The GIANT Company in Gilbertsville, PA is seeking a motivated deli team member to weigh, slice, and prepare sandwiches, meats, and prepared foods for the grab-and-go and service cases throughout a busy grocery store environment.

You will operate ovens, fryers, slicers, scales, and cash registers, maintain high cleanliness and food-safety standards, assist customers, and support the deli department with accurate labeling, plan-o-gram adherence, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to understand and follow safety policies and procedures
• Ability to meet ergonomic and physical requirements
• Must meet attendance standards and work as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli items: weigh, slice, label, and merchandise per plan-o-gram (POG).
• Cook and assemble pizzas and other hot/cold items as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Provide courteous customer service and assist shoppers in the deli area.
