Job summary

Jimbo in San Diego, CA is seeking a Deli/Kitchen Associate to support the Deli Counter staff, follow recipes, and ensure safe food preparation in a clean environment. You will assist with inventory, menu planning, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to Health Department regulations.

Responsibilities include maintaining portion control, proper labeling, and assisting with daily production lists and merchandising. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must follow Health Department regulations.
• Ability to complete Food Handler’s Certificate within 10 days of employment.
• Understand allergen handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow Deli recipes to produce high quality items.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work area complying with Health Dept. regulations.
• Assist Kitchen Manager with inventory, ordering, and menu planning.
• Provide counter assistance and customer service.
• Adhere to store policies and dress code.
