Jimbo’s in Carlsbad, CA is hiring for a Deli Associate to prepare high-quality items following our recipes and safety standards. You will assist the Deli team in daily production, maintain clean and organized work areas, and help customers with service needs in line with our standards.

Candidates should have food service experience, be able to read recipes, handle basic math for measurements, and meet health department requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health Department regulations and food safety practices.
• Allergen handling familiarity and sanitation standards.
• Prior experience in a food service or deli environment.
• Ability to read and interpret recipes and scale quantities.
• Basic arithmetic for recipe measurements.

Responsibilities

• Follow Deli recipes to produce consistent, high-quality items.
• Work efficiently to meet production targets while maintaining safety.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and properly labeled storage areas.
• Assist Kitchen Manager in daily menu coordination and orders.
• Communicate with Kitchen Manager about items to order before running out.
• Support Deli Counter staff and help customers according to service standards.
• Attend department and store meetings and follow policies.
