Festival Foods in Mount Pleasant, WI is seeking a Part-Time Deli Clerk to join our busy deli team. You’ll assist guests with meal options and prepare items while upholding food safety and quality standards. Reports to the Deli Manager and supports a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Customer focus: ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel.
• Communication skills: good oral and written communication.
• Effective problem-solving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Safety awareness and training on slicers, lifting, and safety policies.
• Food knowledge in the retail food business and perishable departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Helpful Service: greet guests, answer questions, and address concerns with professionalism.
• Guest Assistance: help guests locate items and answer deli department calls.
• Order Fulfillment: receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests.
• Customer Service: resolve issues promptly using the boomerang principle.
• Quality Control: inspect and rotate deli products and maintain temperatures.
• Inventory Management: maintain deli storage inventory and organization.
• Food Safety: maintain food safety logs and follow safety standards.
• Efficiency: meet quality standards by 10 am and 5 pm daily.
• Honor Commitments: regular attendance and notice for absences.
• Support the Team: perform other duties as assigned.
