Job summary

Coborn’s, Inc. is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team. We’ll provide training; you bring a positive attitude and desire to learn, and you’ll deliver remarkable customer service in a fun, friendly atmosphere.

You’ll slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese; prepare salads; serve items from the hot case; keep the deli area stocked and visually appealing; follow all food safety guidelines. Some locations may include dish washing and catering prep.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older; Hornbacher's age requirement for this role is 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for our guests
• Prepare and dish up salads
• Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable at location)
• Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing
• Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products to be merchandised and sold in the store
• Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety and sanitation regulations
• In this position, you may also be responsible for dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders baking/frying products
