Job summary

Coborn’s, Inc. is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team. We provide training; you bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

The role focuses on excellent customer service, engaging guests with samples and suggestive selling, and maintaining a welcoming deli area. Responsibilities include slicing and packaging meats and cheeses, preparing salads, serving hot case items as applicable, stocking the deli and merchandising products.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older; 18+ at Hornbacher's.

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for our guests
• Prepare and dish up salads
• Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable at location)
• Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing
• Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products to be merchandised and sold in the store
• Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety and sanitation regulations
• In this position, you may also be responsible for dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders baking/frying products.
