Job summary

Coborn’s is seeking a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team. We’ll provide training; you just bring a positive attitude and desire to learn, and we’ll help create a fun, friendly atmosphere for guests through samples and suggestive selling.

You will slice and weigh meat and cheese, prepare salads, and serve from the hot case where available, while keeping the deli area stocked and presentable and following all food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older; Hornbacher's age requirement for this role is 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for our guests
• Prepare and dish up salads
• Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable at location)
• Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing
• Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products to be merchandised and sold in the store
• Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety and sanitation regulations
• Dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders baking/frying products (as applicable)
