Job summary

Coborn's Incorporated is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team. We provide training; you bring a positive attitude and desire to learn to deliver remarkable customer service and create a friendly atmosphere for guests.

Responsibilities include slicing, weighing, labeling meat and cheese, preparing salads, serving in the hot case, stocking the deli area, and preparing trays for display. Adheres to food safety and sanitation guidelines; opportunities for growth and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older; Hornbacher's age requirement for this role is 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide remarkable customer service and engage guests through product samples and suggestive selling
• Willingness to train and learn in a fast-paced deli environment

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for our guests
• Prepare and dish up salads
• Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable at location)
• Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing
• Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products to be merchandised and sold in the store
• Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety and sanitation regulations
• In this position, you may also be responsible for dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders baking/frying products
