Schnucks is hiring Deli Clerks to deliver friendly, accurate service while preparing fresh sandwiches and salads. You will handle slicing, weighing, stocking, and displaying products with a strong emphasis on safety, sanitation, and meeting quality standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers, both in person and on the phone at all times
• Maintain a positive work environment
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, deli cases, and backroom, following company food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Follow proper personal hygiene requirements
• Follow proper time and temperature controls
• Follow good food handling practices to prevent cross-contamination
• Follow proper sanitation principles
• Wear slip resistant shoes
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Operate meat and cheese slicers, scales and wrapping equipment
• Prepare sandwiches, salads and other items while adhering to recipes
• Ensure freshness and rotate products
• Multi-task while keeping customers as a priority
• Attend to training and be prepared for growing opportunities
