Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing "fresh and easy meals" and providing excellent customer service. Your duties include arranging vegetables or sliced meats for sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining food safety standards. There are ample opportunities for growth and learning about products, equipment, and customer service in our Deli Department. We seek individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly, with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to answer phones, take orders, and work in different temperature environments.
• Lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and operate equipment safely.
• Adhere to safety and health regulations, including obtaining a Food Handlers permit.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
