Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing "fresh and easy meals" and providing high-quality customer service. Your duties include arranging vegetables or sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining food safety standards. Opportunities for growth include learning about products, equipment, and customer service. We seek individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependability and reliability.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for up to 4 hours continuously.
• Perform general housekeeping and operate equipment safely.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations; obtain a Food Handlers permit.
• Work in different temperature environments (cooler and freezer).
• Other duties as assigned.
