Overview

Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing ‘fresh and easy meals’ and providing high-quality customer service. Your duties include arranging vegetables or sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining food safety standards. You will have opportunities to learn about products, equipment, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable, reliable, and outgoing with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Capable of lifting/carrying up to 70 lbs. and standing for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Perform general housekeeping and operate equipment safely.
• Adhere to safety regulations and obtain a Food Handlers permit.
• Able to work in temperature-controlled environments.

Pay Range

$16.95 - $22.90 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
