Overview

Overview of Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing "fresh and easy meals" and providing high-quality customer service in our Deli department. Your duties include arranging vegetables or sliced meats for sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining food safety standards. Opportunities for growth include learning about products, equipment, and customer service. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable and reliable
• Outgoing, friendly, with a positive attitude and good communication skills
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to answer phones, take orders, and lift/carry up to 70 lbs.
• Stand for up to 4 hours continuously
• Perform general housekeeping and operate deli equipment safely
• Adhere to safety and health regulations and maintain a Food Handlers permit
• Work in different temperature environments
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Range

$16.95 - $22.90/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
