Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing "fresh and easy" meals and providing high-quality customer service in our Deli department. Your duties include arranging vegetables and sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining food safety standards. Opportunities for growth include learning about products, equipment, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or an acceptable combination of education and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related fields.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, with positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs., stand for up to 4 hours continuously, and work in temperature-controlled environments.
• Perform general housekeeping, operate equipment safely, and adhere to all safety and health regulations.
