Job summary

The Golden Hog in Florida is seeking a full-time Deli Clerk to provide friendly customer service while preparing sandwiches, slicing, weighing, packaging, and labeling deli meats, cheeses, and other products.

You will support daily Deli operations with restocking, display organization, freshness checks, cleaning, and maintaining a customer-ready department. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required; weekend availability encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work rotating shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Experience slicing, weighing, packaging, and labeling deli meats, cheeses, and other products preferred.
• Excellent customer-service skills with a positive attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service while preparing sandwiches and deli items.
• Slice, weigh, package, and label deli products.

Requirements

Deli Clerk Qualifications:

• Must be able to work rotating shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Previous experience as a Deli Clerk, Deli Associate, Deli Counter Clerk, Sandwich Maker, Food Service worker, Supermarket employee, Customer Service representative, or Auxiliar de Deli preferred.
• Experience slicing, weighing, packaging, and labeling deli meats, cheeses, and other products preferred.
• Ability to prepare sandwiches and other deli items following established recipes, portions, presentation, and food-safety standards.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate slicers, utensils, and other Deli equipment.
• Able to maintain deli displays, counters, workstations, and product areas clean, organized, properly stocked, and well presented.
• Excellent customer-service skills with a positive attitude, reliability, punctuality, and ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to stand and remain active for extended periods while performing the physical duties required for the position.
• Willingness to assist with opening, closing, cleaning, restocking, product rotation, and other Deli duties as needed.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
