Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing "fresh and easy meals" and providing high-quality customer service. Responsibilities include arranging vegetables or sliced meats for sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining food safety standards. Opportunities for growth include learning about products, equipment, and customer service. We seek individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or an acceptable combination of education and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related fields.
• Dependable, reliable, and outgoing with a positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to answer phones, take orders, and lift/carry up to 70 lbs.
• Stand for up to 4 hours continuously.
• Perform cleaning and equipment operation safely.
• Adhere to safety and health regulations, and obtain a Food Handlers permit.
• Work in different temperature environments.
• Other duties as assigned.
