Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing "fresh and easy meals" and providing excellent customer service. Your duties include arranging vegetables or sliced meats for sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining food safety standards. There are ample opportunities for growth within the department to learn about products, equipment, and customer service. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable, reliable, and friendly with a positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to answer phones, take orders, and lift/carry up to 70 lbs.
• Stand for up to 4 hours continuously.
• Maintain cleanliness and operate equipment safely.
• Adhere to safety and health regulations and obtain a Food Handlers permit.
• Work in coolers and freezers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
