As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing "fresh and easy meals" and providing high-quality customer service in our Deli department. Your tasks include arranging vegetables and sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining food safety standards. This role offers opportunities for growth, product knowledge enhancement, and customer service expertise, especially suited for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related fields, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable, reliable, and friendly with a positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and handle special orders.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs., standing for up to 4 hours, and working in different temperature environments.
• Perform general housekeeping and operate equipment safely.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards, and maintain a Food Handlers permit.
