Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring for a deli/cheese associate in Edmond, OK. You will help prepare and display deli items, assist with slicing, weighing, labeling and stocking while upholding food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills for following recipes.
• Ability to operate a bread slicer, commercial oven and other equipment safely.
• Ability to communicate with customers and team members clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist deli/cheese staff with slicing, weighing, packaging and labeling.
• Maintain stock levels and monitor product dates and temperatures.
• Greet customers, answer questions and take special orders by phone or in person.
• Promote products through suggestive selling.
• Keep work area clean and safe according to store procedures.
