Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Deli Associate to ensure hot and cold deli foods are prepared to company standards and to promote excellent customer service. You will assist with slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling, and maintaining attractive product presentation in a fast-paced retail deli.

The role requires a Food Handler certification and the ability to operate slicers and other equipment safely, with availability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Handler certification and be 18+ to operate equipment.
• Ability to read, weigh, package, label and present deli foods per standards.
• Willingness to learn systems and safely handle tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist deli personnel with slicing, weighing, packaging and labeling.
• Prepare hot and cold deli foods under supervision and ensure presentation.
• Greet customers, take orders by phone or in person, and promote products.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work and shopping environments per safety procedures.
