The role emphasizes teamwork, ability to learn new systems, and delivering friendly service while promoting product sales. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn new systems, methods, or processes.
• Ability to read and operate digital equipment, meters, dials, and calibrated scales.
• Ability to safely operate tools such as slicer and knives.
• Ability to work with fellow partners and promote a team environment.
• Ability to communicate with customers and partners in written and verbal form.

Responsibilities

• Assist deli personnel with slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling, and preparing hot and cold deli foods.
• Clean, assemble, and prepare equipment for operation under supervision.
• Adhere to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating deli products.
• Stack pallets and sort product according to efficiency standards.
• Provide friendly, customer-service-oriented attitude and take orders by phone and in person.
• Promote product sales through suggestive selling.
