Raley's is seeking an Assistant Deli Team Lead to provide exceptional customer service and lead a Deli/Bistro team. The role focuses on product expertise, high-quality deli offerings, and maintaining standards across prep, service, and merchandising.

The position involves supervising staff, managing inventory and orders, and ensuring food safety and high-quality presentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Provides superior customer service and team leadership in a Deli/Bistro environment.
• Ensures safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Manages inventory, ordering and merchandising to maintain deli standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel in the absence of the deli team leader.
• Oversee preparation, serving, and merchandising of deli items (breakfast, lunch, dinner, fried items, salads, sandwiches).
• Display and rotate deli products following merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain clean and orderly counters, prep areas, and cold storage.
• Ensure orders are completed to customers’ satisfaction and on time.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation policies.
