Job summary

Raley's in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Deli/Bistro Team Lead to direct operations and supervise staff in a fast-paced deli environment. You will drive merchandising, sales and customer service goals, while ensuring food safety standards and teamwork.

Responsibilities include training new team members, ordering supplies, engaging customers, preparing and merchandising deli items, and maintaining clean, well-stocked counters. Must have prior food service management experience.

Qualifications

• Must have previous food service management experience.
• Direct and supervise deli/bistro department staff to meet goals.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel and communicate with store leadership.
• Onboard and coach new team members.
• Order products and supplies to maintain stock and merchandising levels.
• Engage customers with service, product information and sampling.
• Oversee preparation and merchandising of deli items across meals and displays.
• Rotate products, monitor pricing and signage.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and equipment.
• Process transactions and manage cash handling.
• Take customer orders and ensure timely fulfillment.
• All other related duties as assigned.
