Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services is seeking a Part Time Deli Bakery Associate at Los Angeles AFB, El Segundo, CA. Serve our military personnel with friendly, efficient service while handling deli and bakery tasks.

You will slice meats and cheeses, prepare trays and sandwiches, stock displays, maintain sanitation, and support fast-paced operations with teamwork. Must be 18+, willing to cross-train, and able to lift up to 50 pounds; weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed.
• Basic math and ability to follow written guidelines.
• Lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Stand and walk for an entire shift.
• Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time.
• Weekend shifts are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains enthusiastic customer service and teamwork and assists other team members.
• Slices deli meats and cheeses to customer requests.
• Prepares custom party trays and makes sandwiches accordingly.
• Stocks and organizes displays and helps with shipments.
• Ensures proper sanitation and food handling in the department.
