Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services is hiring a Deli Bakery Associate for part-time shifts at various commissaries nationwide. You will slice meats, prepare trays, build displays, and assist with shipments while ensuring sanitation and safe food handling.

Flexibility for additional deli/bakery tasks and weekend shifts is required. Previous grocery, food service, or retail experience is a plus, and candidates must be 18+.

Qualifications

• Effective and friendly communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math and ability to follow written guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time.
• Team player with grocery/retail or food service experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Slices deli meats and cheeses to customer requests.
• Prepares custom party trays and makes sandwiches accordingly.
• Stock and organize displays and assist with shipments.
• Ensure proper sanitation and safe food handling.
• Other deli/bakery tasks such as cake decorating or rotisserie chicken prep when needed.
