Meijer Inc. in Belleville, MI is looking for a Deli and Bakery Supervisor to lead daily operations, maintain quality, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will guide teammates, schedule tasks, and ensure safety and standards are met.

The role emphasizes training and coaching, inventory management, and upholding Meijer values of inclusion and teamwork while driving store performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service with total engagement that conveys approachability to customers and fellow team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Retail or other customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to influence others and build rapport.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product.

Responsabilités

• Engaging peers to provide the best possible shopping experience for our customers including an exceptional checkout experience.
• Communicating with team members and assigning daily work tasks.
• Mentoring and coaching other team members to ensure customer service and sales goals are exceeded.
• Leading department scheduling to improve customer service, store sales and profitability.
• Ensuring product freshness and compliance with food safety standards.
• Operating a register and cash handling when needed.
• May be required to act in Lead capacity in other departments throughout the store.
