Job summary

Kj's Market in the United States is seeking a hands-on Deli/Bakery Supervisor to lead hosts, ensure friendly guest service, and drive department sales and inventory control. This role builds on strong knowledge of deli operations and staff development in a fast-paced store environment.

You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, and adherence to quality and safety standards, while performing product prep, receiving, and guest service tasks as needed to meet company goals.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of deli operations.
• Supervise hosts including training and development.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the deli/bakery hosts.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the deli/bakery department.
• Maintain inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Floco Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure deli/bakery department hosts achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guests service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department's labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Performs PA announcements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
