You will oversee staffing, inventory, pricing, and daily operations, ensuring compliance with health regulations while driving sales and margins. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on training, and a commitment to fresh, affordable, real foods for our communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Minimum 4 years professional experience in grocery retail or deli/bakery.
• Knowledge of Health Department guidelines and regulations for grocery retail.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly sales and labor projections for the Deli/Bakery Department.
• Monitor costs and inventory; ensure proper ordering and shrink control.
• Hire, train, schedule, coach, and conduct performance reviews for staff.
• Oversee shift operations and department scheduling.
• Ensure stock for weekly ads and accurate tagging/pricing.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in deli/bakery areas.
