You will verify product quality, weight, and labeling, and help maintain a well-organized department. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years grocery retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred 1–2 years grocery retail experience in Food Service department processes.
• Experience in natural foods industry is a plus.
• Must be familiar with Health Department guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of deli/bakery cases, storage area, and work area for safety.
• Stocks deli/bakery cases with accurate pricing and presentation.
• Rotates deli/bakery products and removes expired items.
• Interacts with customers and assists with purchases and product selection.
• Receives, inspects, and logs products for shipment accuracy and quality.
• Monitors signage and promo materials to support sales.
