Meijer is seeking an experienced store leadership professional to plan, direct, and supervise day-to-day operations across multiple departments. You will mentor staff, drive sales, and uphold customer service standards while ensuring store presentation and brand adherence.

The role emphasizes staffing, development, and succession planning, with accountability for P&L, shrink, and safety. Expect a fast-paced environment with continuous coaching and performance improvement.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas such as meat, bakery, produce and deli; customer service and product flow experience helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly to team members.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and address root causes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions and teach suggestive selling.
• Commitment to safe work environment and staff training.

Responsabilidades

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote succession planning by providing career paths and development needs for team members.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions and make recommendations concerning discharge.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and maintaining shrink for the department.
• Model exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Mentor and coach team members to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Ensure team is thoroughly trained and has completed required training.
• Spend majority of time in-store communicating with customers and team members to ensure exceptional service.
• Promote a safe work environment and maintain Meijer standards.
• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
